Root Beer Slush


I had my doubts about this recipe from Richard Martin from the beginning - how could this be better or easier than pouring a mug of root beer over a scoop of ice cream?

But I bought the 7-Up (diet), root beer syrup (sugarfree), and half-n-half (actually, whipping cream) anyway.

So tonight I blended 12 ounces of 7-Up, 6 ounces rootbeer syrup, and 2 ounces cream. Just OK. I added more cream. Still just OK. I added more syrup. Maybe it's me.

Andy thought it was great and drank both glasses.
