Tuna Casserole

I love this recipe for its consistency.
  1. Line a greased casserole with 4 slices of bread.
  2. Spread a mixture of 2 cans tuna, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, and 1 cup each chopped onion and celery on top.
  3. Put 4 more slices of bread on top. It will look like 4 sloppy tuna sandwiches in a pan.
  4. Beat 4 eggs and add 3 cups milk. Pour on top.
  5. Pour a can of cream of mushroom soup on top.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. I used the leftover Colby-Jack mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with paprika. Where? On top.
  8. Bake at 325 for an hour.

it was still kind of soggy, but very good. I'm sure this will be like Breakfast Casserole and get better with each reheating.

This recipe is from my Aunt Lynn as given to Aunt Martha.
