Oyster Croutons

This recipe calls for 2 pkgs Keeblers oyster croutons, 1 cup Mazola oil, 1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch, 1 T dill weed, and 1 T garlic powder.

I used a 12-ounce package of Western Family oyster crackers, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, a package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix, and a couple generous shakes of dill weed. I did not add the additional garlic powder, and I'm glad, because the Dip Mix provides plenty of flavor.

Pour oil over crackers to coat, then add the dry Ranch mix and the dill weed. Stir well until crackers are evenly coated. The comments say these melt in your mouth and will go fast - they do and will!

I'm always impressed that someone actually thought to put certain ingredients together to create a recipe. And then it's so good! This recipe is from Vicki Fiedler, on the Ben Cross side. Again, I don't know the family tree logistics.

P.S. Thank you, Chuck Cross, for giving me background via email on James & Lydia's 'kids.'
