This recipe from Aunt Martha would have been Easy, Easy except that I didn't have two of the three ingredients. Since I needed to go to the grocery store, I decided to do my shopping, which meant going through the next few Cross Family Cookbook recipes to make a list of what I'll need, and I long as I was going out, might as well go to Starbucks, and they have the NYT, so let's see what it has to say about last night's Academy Awards...and now it's after noon.
This frosting was quick and simple to mix when I got home. It's creamy, like pudding (no surprise), and was very nice on the Krazy Kake.
1 1/2 cup cold milk
1 pkg instant pudding mix (I got chocolate.)
1 envelope Dream Whip (Imagine my glee at seeing it still around!)
Mix all ingredients together and beat slowly until well mixed, then gradually increase speed until mixture form soft peaks, about 4-6 minutes.
