
This was the perfect topping for tonight's dinner of Zucchini Egg Foo Young and Fried Rice.
Blend 2 t cornstarch, 2 t sugar, 2 t vinegar, 5 t soy sauce, 3/4 t salt, and 1 cup cold water. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve hot. Makes 1 cup.
After a whirlwind of cooking the last few days, I'm going to take a few days off so we can catch up on eating our supply of fruits and vegetables and leftovers. I also need to go see a bunch of the Oscar-nominated movies!
